I’m Michael A. Roundtree, Jr.—a systems-minded operator, writer, and advisor who helps people translate complexity into clarity and structure. My foundation is technical at its core: I studied chemistry and mathematics, with research grounded in theoretical chemistry and theoretical physics. That training shaped how I think—how to break problems down, test assumptions, build models, then communicate complex ideas clearly without losing accuracy.

My academic and research path includes work connected to institutions such as the University of Chicago, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Technical University of Berlin, and Clark Atlanta University. I’m also a published author in the Royal Society of Chemistry’s journal Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics. My research has explored topics such as tunable band gap opening in gold-intercalated graphene—work that demanded precision, disciplined reasoning, and the ability to translate abstract theory into something coherent and defensible.

That same mindset is why MARCO exists. In the real world, complexity shows up as messy priorities, unclear roles, fragile workflows, and communication that doesn’t hold up under scrutiny. I help leaders, organizations, and individuals build the internal architecture: decision frameworks, operating structure, clean documentation, and stakeholder-ready writing that people can trust.

I studied at Morehouse College and DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business. My work sits at the intersection of rigorous thinking and usable outcomes—clarity that becomes a plan, then a plan that becomes repeatable performance. Alongside organizational work, I support individuals and families through learning and skill-building, especially when material feels technical or overwhelming. The focus is structure: weekly plans, practice rhythms, accountability, and explanations that make progress predictable.
